1. What is My Account?

We've made it easy for you to view and update your account and orders any time through "My Account". "My Account" allows you complete control over your transactions at Krishna Prakashan Media. You can

  • manage/edit all your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids
  • change your password
  • track the status of your orders
2. How do I know my order has been confirmed?

Once your payment has been successfully made, your order is processed. Krishna Prakashan Media will send a confirmation mail for your order, to the email address associated with your KPM account. In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID (eg. OD01202130213) for your reference with the shipping details that includes Courier company name, Docket No., listing of the books you had ordered and the date of dispatch.

3. Is it possible to order a book that is 'Out of Stock'?

Unfortunately, we do not have these products available for sale. You can wait to order it once it will be available for sale at KPM.

4. Why are there varying prices for the same titled book?

We offer various editions of the same titled book. Some editions might be collector's first/earlier prints. Some editions might be hardcover, while some might be paperback - as mentioned on the product page. Some editions might be re-published/printed within India, while some editions may be export oriented. Some books are for different courses. We mention the various editions and alternative prices available for a particular title on the respective product pages under 'Other Editions'.

5. Is it necessary to have an account to purchase a book?

While it is not necessary to have a KPM account to purchase a book, it is certainly recommended to have one. You can also shop by sending us an email specifying your requirements with your complete contact details. We would send you the Proforma Invoice with all the bank details and you can deposit the amount in the bank or you can send us the money order of specified amount and we will dispatch your order.


1. How do I make a payment for a purchase?

KPM offers multiple methods to make payments for your order: Credit Card & Debit Card, Net Banking, PayPal and DD payable at Meerut. All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. KPM uses VerSign’s 256 bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology to protect your card information.

2. Are there any hidden charges when I make a purchase on Krishna’s account (Octroi, Sales Tax)?

There are absolutely no hidden charges when you make a purchase with KPM We offer free delivery if the order is Rs. 500 or over, otherwise you will be charged an additional Rs. 50 for delivery. The prices listed for all the books are final. The prices you see on our product pages are exactly what you pay for the item.

3. How do I pay using a Credit/Debit card and is it safe?

We accept all VISA and Master Card- only Indian cards are supported and not International. Customers will need to key in their 16-digit Credit/Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value - found on the back of the card) and complete the payment flow. All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. KPM uses VerSign’s 256 bit SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

Order Status

1. How do I check the current status of my orders?

You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending or fulfilled, that you have placed with KPM. To check the status of your pending orders, click on the "My Account" link in the top right of any page on our store. This will take you to your My Account page, where you can click on the "My Orders" link to view the status of all orders. To view the status of a specific order, click on the "Order Number". After your order is shipped out from our warehouse, we will send you a mail with the shipping details.

2. What do the different order statuses mean?

Payment Pending Authorization: Your order has been logged and we are waiting for authorization from the payment gateway.

Payment Authorized, Order under Processing: We have received authorization from the payment gateway and are processing your order.

Order Shipped: Your order has been shipped out of our warehouse and is on its way to your delivery location.

Order Cancelled: The order has been cancelled.

3. When and how can I cancel an order?

You can cancel your order before it reaches the "Order shipped" state. You can do so by sending us an email with the order number.


1. How much are the delivery charges?

KPM provides free delivery on all items if your total order amount is Rs. 500/- or more. Otherwise Rs. 50/- is charged as delivery charges.

2. What is the estimated delivery time?

The estimated time of delivery may differ from one place to another. Please read below for an explanation of delivery estimates:

3-6 days delivery time:

For all areas serviced by reputed couriers the delivery time will be 3-6 business days. For other areas, orders will be sent by Registered Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

Preorder or Forthcoming: These books are soon to be released and we prebook your item for you. It will be shipped to you on the day of its official release launch.

For Out of Stock items: Currently we do not have these products available for sale. You can wait to order it once it will be available for sale at KPM.

With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once we ship the item(s), you will receive another email containing the shipping details.

3. How will the delivery be done?

We process all deliveries through reputed couriers. If there is no courier service available in your area, we will ship via Government Registered Book post or Speed post.

4. Does Krishna deliver internationally?

Yes, KPM deliver items internationally. We process all deliveries through reputed couriers.


1. How are Books packaged?

All items are carefully packaged at our warehouses - as to avoid any form of damage. We ensure the package is plastic wrap followed by corrugated paper packing.

2. How can I track the delivery of my order?

All KPM products are delivered through reputed courier partners who will provide you with a Tracking ID for your order by which you can track your delivery on the respective websites of our courier partners.

Cancellations & Returns

1. If I have an afterthought, can I cancel an order?

Yes. You can cancel an order by two methods: Cancel through website OR Cancel by an email. As long as it has not entered into the shipping process, an email to us is enough. You can also login to the website and see the My Orders section. In this section you can also place your cancellation request. Please note that these are just requests and the decision to cancel solely lies with us. You can also do a partial cancellation or update your order from this section. If you wish to mail your cancellation order to us take care not to miss out on any of the following - your name, your email address, order confirmation number, if available, details of the item ordered (including title, author, etc.). You can also mention your requirement to increase or reduce the quantity.

2. Can I return a product if I am not satisfied?

krishnaprakashan.com unconditionally guarantees all products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, the customer is advised to notify us by mail at support@krishnaprakashan.com within 3 working days and you may return it to us in its original condition within 7 working days of receipt of your order. Only defective/incorrect items will be replaced with new. If the return is due to an error we have made, we will gladly refund the shipping expense.

3. Can I cancel my order if it has already been shipped?

If you received the product, it will be eligible for replacement, only in cases where there are defects found with the product.

Following shall not be eligible for return or replacement -

  • Damages due to misuse of product;
  • Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product;
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging.
